In the rush and excitement of selling thousands and thousands of fly fishing books and instructional courses last year, there was no time to pay attention to our inventory.
It's our fault...
...We should have kept a better count of the remaining items in stock, and now you can take advantage of our mistake.
Here's what happened...
Recently we decided to re-design the cover and layout of one of our most popular courses, "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us: A 30-Day Beginner's Course Covering Tackle, Technique and Triumph" but we forgot one important thing...
Just as we were getting ready to unveil the new layout, we realized that we still had a bunch of the original copies that we had to sell first. We were left with quite a few and now we're finally down to just 121 remaining copies.
We can't sell them for the same price as the new version so we've decided to slash the price to move them out of here in a hurry so we can begin offering the new layout.
There's nothing wrong with them. In fact, all of the information is exactly the same as the new version. It's just not as pretty as the new glossy, hard-bound version.
If you're the type of person who wants to have a fancy coffee-table book, then you'll want to wait until our new version is ready for sale.
But if you're more interested in the great content inside the book, and you're not concerned about the fancy graphics or the "perfect binding" as the printer calls it, then you'll want to take advantage of the drastic discount. Jump on the opportunity to grab a copy for yourself before the remaining 121 copies are gone. At this price, they'll probably be sold out by this time tomorrow.
Right now, you can save $39 off of "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us." That's a 30% savings!
In my book, I'll be your personal fly fishing guide and I'll take you by the hand and show you how to go from fishing like a complete beginner to a professional guide in 30 days. In fact...
"I've seen guys out on the river,
who have been fly fishing for years
ask my newbie students for advice."
“My buddies call it beginner's luck.”
Thanks for writing back and answering my questions. I just had to tell you how much I've learned from your book. We went back down to fish the Bow River last weekend, just south of Calgary. I tied on a #20 olive colored dunn. Mentally going through your checklist, everything was perfect and then all of a sudden- there it was! My first was a 15" rainbow. Next cast - POW - another one. This time a 17" brown trout. Before lunch my buddies who have fished for years were asking for pointers since they hadn't had any fish. I can tell that I'm getting better and better each time I go out and practice your techniques. Thanks for all of your help.

" Learn How to Fly Fish Using the
Time-Tested Techniques of
The Best Fly Fishermen in the World"
FROM: Doug Macnair
11:15 a.m.
Dear Friend,
Let me ask you a couple questions.
Are you thinking about trying fly fishing for the first time but don't know how, or even where to begin?
Or maybe you've already tried it but have been frustrated by the sport like so many others.
Do you ever find yourself making a beautiful cast right over feeding trout in the middle of a hatch and you can't get a fish to bite your fly to save your life?
Well, if you read through those questions and thought that none of them applied to you, then you can, in all honesty save yourself 10 minutes because this site is not for you. On the other hand, if you were nodding your head as you read those questions, thinking, "yep, that's me," then you'll want to pay very close attention to every word on this page because you can...
"Take a huge short cut
and benefit from my experience."
After all, who could argue that experience and wisdom aren't the most valuable things you can obtain? Once you have the opportunity to peek inside my head and understand the simple fly fishing concepts that have made me famous, you'll thank yourself for taking advantage of this opportunity.
Imagine being able to completely skip the years of frustration that most fly fishermen go through just getting up to speed. Picture yourself in a matter of weeks, gracefully casting your fly out over the water and striking just as a monster fish engulfs your fly.
That could be you.
Or you could continue wondering why you spend all day fishing and not even get a single strike? And some other guy fishing the same water, catches fish all day long.
How is that? You're both fishing the same water? What does he know that you don't?
If you're ready to find out and finally master the art of fly fishing, stop wasting your time trying to do it on your own. You have to read Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us.
This course is not your typical fly fishing mumbo jumbo. It goes against the grain. It's even made some of the other industry experts squirm a little.
It's more than 190 pages, packed full of my time-tested fishing techniques that have helped countless students. What you'll learn will catapult you into the select group of fishermen who know what it takes to catch fish.
This is a one-of-a-kind fishing manual. It's written for anyone who wants to become a better fly fisherman. It doesn't matter if you're a brand-new fisherman or a seasoned veteran.
This manual is jammed full of new, innovative ideas that only a handful of the best fishermen are using. Now you, too, can get the inside scoop on what they know.
"I'll teach you what it takes to
consistently catch dozens of fish
every time you go out."
But don't get me wrong. Fly fishing is NOT easy. It takes practice and the knowledge of how to do it right. To tell you the truth, anyone who tells you that it's simple and that all you need is a couple long lost secrets, is flat out lying to you.
Trust me. I've been fly fishing for more than 40 years and I know that there's no overnight answer to instantly becoming an expert fly fisherman. But I can promise you this...
You'll save years of frustration and perhaps thousands of wasted dollars by avoiding all of the mistakes that I made along the way.
Isn't it time that you...
Stop wondering why others catch fish when you can't.
Stop wasting your money buying needless tackle that won't fix your problems.
Start catching fish the next time you go fishing--Guaranteed.
You can, when you discover the tips and techniques in Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us.
But don't take my word for it...

Doug,
When they passed out the gift of coordination, Shari, my wife was definitely left out. Then when they passed out patience, I was pretty close to being left out.
Definitely not a good combination!
That's why we relied on your instruction to teach her, and not me. I dumped a rank beginner in your lap, so to speak, and retrieved a skilled fly fisher who could put a fly right where she wanted it to go. Recently we went on a fishing trip together and caught enough fish that she wants to go back!
That was my goal; with your help it was accomplished.
Thanks, Rick Brown
“Thanks. It really worked!”
Hi Doug,
It was a pleasure to read your article on fly reels published in the magazine "Líneas y Moscas" N° 4 edited in Chile. (Rough Translation: Lines of the Fly)
I have just begun reading from your book and it has really helped. I am already feeling more confident with my abilities.
Very truly yours, Alejandro Parragué

Hi Doug,
I received your book in the mail last Friday and read it cover to cover in 2 days. It was just what I've been looking for. I wanted to actually go fishing last weekend but once I picked up the book, I knew I had to finish it first.
I can't wait to get out there and try out all of the things you covered. I can see all of the mistakes I've been making and now I know how to correct them. Thanks for putting your efforts into this book. I know it will make all the difference.

“I'm finally equipped to catch fish.”
July 18, 2006
Hello Doug,
Wow! I just had to write to tell you how beneficial your book was for me. After fly fishing every summer on our annual camping trip up near Tahoe, I began wondering if I'd ever love fly fishing as much as I like spin fishing. It seems like I always catch fish when I'm spinning but with a fly rod in hand I never get anything. I've just never had any luck with a fly rod. Every time I've gone, I've given up and headed back to camp by midafternoon. Not yesterday.
It was like no other day of fishing I've ever had. I used the same rod and reel that I've always used but chose to buy new line because of your recommendations. Then of course I went through everything in my mind, just as you described it. Proper tackle and proper casting made all the difference. Within 15 minutes I felt a thump. I didn't even see the fish take my fly because of the sun. It was only a 10" trout but it was quite a little fighter. By mid afternoon when I'm usually ready to pack it up I had caught seventeen trout. I knew right then that this was the beginning of something new! Thanks for changing my outlook on fly fishing.
Thanks, sincerely, -Tom Davenport

"It Was Amazing!"
I have read through Chapter 7 already and I'm amazed by all the things I should have learned years ago.
I took your book out to the stream with me last night. (I live close to the Blue River just outside of Dillon.) I only had a couple hours of light left but I was able to use what you've taught me and catch more fish than I normally catch all day. In fact, one of the fish was a 22" rainbow that was the largest I've ever caught! I'll send you a picture in the next few days. It's on my friend's camera.
I'm so thrilled with the changes I've seen just after reading the first half of your book. I can't wait to see what happens after I finish the whole thing.

“I thought that your advice wouldn't work, until I actually tried it.”
September 1, 2006
Doug:
When you answered my question a couple months ago (the one about running lines), you asked me to let you know how things were going. When I first started practicing your stuff I thought that maybe it wasn't going to work out as I had hoped. I took a trip out to Gray Reef and didn't catch a thing. I was skunked. So I came home frustrated and started flipping through your book again. It was like I hadn't been paying attention. I realized that I had actually gone out there and pretty much done the same thing I had always done. I even used the same fly setup.
So I started to review the main chapters again and wound up reading the book for a second time with a fresh perspective. I took what you said and decided to actually give it a shot this time. Last weekend I went to the same spot on the Platte and this time actually used your advice.
Either I was fishing in a new way or the river had just been stocked with 50,000 twenty-inch trout. There were times when I was catching fish on every cast! I'm planning to get out there again at the end of the month. I'll definitely let you know how it goes. Thanks for everything.
-All my best,

“Doug, why couldn't you have written this book 20 years ago?”
November 3, 2006
This is the best fly fishing book that I've read in all of my years. I have a pretty big collection of fly fishing books but this one is hands-down the best one of them all. I just wanted to thank you for putting all of your experience into this book for us. I've even gotten one for my brother in law because he's been struggling with many of the issues that you address. I just wish I had read this book 20 years ago!

"I met Doug Macnair in 2001 when I was searching the internet to locate a casting instructor for my wife. Over the last four years I wish I had a dollar for every time I have called Doug to ask his advice. He is an excellent angler, a superb teacher, can cast a fly a country mile and is now a friend that money cannot buy. Simply put--he has an incredibly vast knowledge of the sport. His expertise as a fly-fishing instructor was immediately evident to me when we first met in the late 1990s.
Over the years, I've always enjoyed reading Doug's writing because it's not only packed with valuable golden nuggets of advice, it's delivered in a humorous, light-hearted style. I highly recommend Doug's writing to anyone who's interested in learning how to become a better fly-fisherman.

“Folks at Both 3M and G.Loomis
Listen When Doug Speaks.”
"Handling media relations for some of the biggest names in the fly fishing industry for close to 20 years - including 3M Scientific Anglers and G.Loomis - provides me with the opportunity to work with many writers that are very knowledgeable about the sport and its equipment. Doug Macnair from Texas ranks really high on that list of very informed and knowledgeable outdoor journalists.
Doug doesn't just regurgitate old news - he takes the time to learn the latest products - try them in the right situation and location - ask questions to the product development staff - and even on occasion makes a suggestion that can make a product even better.
And because you can tell from his writing that he knows his stuff, folks at both 3M and G.Loomis listen when Doug speaks."

“I Highly Recommend It!”
"Doug Macnair, who is quite a prolific writer, lands a big one with this well written and informative fly fishing book. “Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us ” should be accepted as standard education for the novice as well as the experienced angler wishing to understand fly fishing better and improve their own performance. Doug produces a sound and systematic approach to fly-fishing instruction. He also explains the casting process in easy to understand words, giving special attention to the intricacies of making a good cast. I suspect that this book will remain “standard issue” for a long time to come. I highly recommend it!

"Okay, Enough About Me.
Let Me Show You What You'll Discover When You Get "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us..."
In this gigantic volume (192 pages) of fly fishing tactics you'll find 19 chapters explaining in detail how to master the techniques required to catch fish consistently.
This manual took me OVER A YEAR TO WRITE and hours and hours of painstaking detail to ensure that each strategy is explained in depth, with clear examples of how you can apply them when you're actually out on the water.
You simply won't find a more comprehensive guide to fly fishing. That's why it makes sense for you to take a closer look at "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us."
"Here's What You'll Discover In Chapter 1..."
In the first section of the book, you'll discover all of the in's and out's of fly fishing tackle. For a beginner, learning all of the parts and pieces of a complete fly fishing set up can be a daunting task, but don't worry...
I'll take you step-by-step through the process of pulling together a complete fly fishing set-up so you'll feel confident walking into any fly shop to purchase the various components. By the time you complete this section you'll understand everything there is to know about fly tackle and you'll...
Never again experience the fear and intimidation of being unfamiliar with the foreign language of fly fishing
Know more than the guy behind the counter at the fly shop - GUARANTEED.
Chapter 2: Flies
In this part of the course, you'll find everything you'll ever need to know about flies. I know that there are thousands of fishing flies out there and how it can be a little overwhelming from time to time. But the good news is that I've simplified the mess of information and have boiled it down into an easy-to-grasp section that offers you the insider secrets to the finding the best flies so you don't need to even worry about the thousands of other useless flies that are cluttering the tackle shops.
If you've ever fly fished I'm sure you'll agree that choosing the right fly can be downright difficult. Have you ever cast your fly into the middle of a dozen fish that are in a feeding frenzy but none of them will give your fly a second glance? Discovering which fly they're looking for can be nearly impossible if you don't know where to begin. And that's why I've dedicated an entire chapter to finding the perfect fly for the situation.
In this chapter, you'll discover...
The only 3 reasons why a fish will strike your fly and how to entice them to strike everytime.
The 4 major categories of flies and which fly to use under different situations - Choose the wrong fly and you'll never catch a thing.
The best color of fly to use at dusk, dawn or other low-light situations. (p.10) You can try other colors but why not go with the most effective.
The most versatile fly to use for salt or fresh water. Use this pattern and you'll quickly be able to find out if the fish are feeding on the bottom, in the middle of the water column or at the top. Without this fly, you can waste hours trying to just figure out what depth the fish are feeding at.
The one fly that can "do it all" whether you're fishing for perch, trout, bass, salmon, red fish, mackerel, tuna, tarpon or shark. Keep this one close by no matter where you go fishing. It works anywhere in North America from the Florida Keys to the northern reaches of Alaska. It's amazing and you'd probably overlook it at your local fly shop if you weren't looking for it.
The most difficult type of fly to cast and why most novice fishermen fail to avoid it. However, once you learn how to master this one fly, you'll land fish when no one else can.
Four keys to determine exactly what the fish are eating. Understand what they're interested in taking and you'll dramatically increase your odds of catching fish. (p. 12)
"Plus
the 20 best-performing flies of all time."
Two of my favorite flies that are guaranteed to consistently catch fish, and the one crazy fly that I just can't stop using. Few days have gone by when I haven't used these three.
The top ten best trout flies according to fly-fishing genius, Dave Carty. Arm yourself with these beauties before your next trip and you can practically eliminate the guesswork involved in picking the right trout fly.
Find out the 7 best all-around flies, according to fly fishing legend, Lefty Kreh. Save tons of money- there's practically no need to buy any other flies according to Lefty.
Chapter 3: Fly Lines, Leaders and Tippets
For the total novice, terms like "leader" and "tippet" may be like a foreign language. We'll start there and quickly bring you up to speed on the different elements that form the complete fly fishing system. Then we'll move on and demystify the cryptic numbers that identify line, leader and tippet sizes. You'll never wonder again if you need a 5x or 6x tippet or an eight-weight or 9-weight line.
Did you know that Scientific Anglers offers more than 450 fly lines? Or that Cortland sells close to 400 lines? And that's not to mention the hundreds from Orvis, Teeny Nymph, Rio, AirFlo, McKenzie, or Royal Wulff.
If you're unsure which of the thousands of lines is right for your rod, then you're not alone. That's why this book is titled, "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us." I mean, who can keep up?
With this book, we'll cut through the clutter and you'll discover just the "need to know" stuff like...
Why choosing the right fly line can be far more important than choosing the right rod. Don't believe me? Lee Wulff proved as much when he hand cast 40 feet of line to hook, play and land a 10-pound Atlantic salmon without a rod at all! Wow! Discover which line is best for you.
How to decipher line codes for yourself so you won't even need to ask the kid behind the counter for help.
How a basic understanding of fly lines can make or break your fly fishing experience, and I mean literally. Choose the wrong line and you can snap your rod because the line is so heavy and carries so much momentum that it will literally shatter your rod. I've seen it happen!
Two critical factors that are commonly overlooked when choosing a fly line.
The hidden truth about the two major categories of fly lines and the benefits of each.
How to determine if you'll need a sinking line, a floating line, a weight-forward line, a double taper or a running line. Discover why each line is great for certain conditions but how the wrong line can guarantee a fishless day.
How to calculate the actual weight of your fly line. Think it doesn't matter? Think again! It's quite possible for 2 fly fishermen with identical 7-weight fly systems to experience significant difference in accuracy and distance if one is using a "light" 7-weight line and the other a "heavy" 7-weight line. Discover the difference BEFORE you waste your money on your next fly line.
Four vital things to consider BEFORE you buy your next fly line. Neglect even one and you'll wonder why everyone else can cast farther than you.
How to save money by making your own leaders. Use the six invaluable guidelines to create leaders that outperform standard store-bought leaders at a fraction of the price. This one tip alone can make this investment worthwhile.
Chapter 4: Knots
We all know that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The same is true for a fly fishing outfit. Imagine using all the right tackle, perfecting your cast, picking the perfect fly and having the world-record fish take your hook--only to have your knots unravel.
It happens. But you can guarantee it won't happen to YOU once you understand...
The 5 critical rules to assure that your knots are tied with maximum strength.
Step-by-step advice on how to tie the one and only knot you'll ever need to know. You can forget about having to practice dozens of knots. Contrary to what other experts will tell you, there's only one knot that's needed for fly fishing. (p.56)
Chapter 5: Fly Rods
A lot of hype surrounds fly rods and perhaps too much emphasis is put on the rod itself since it does serve a relatively insignificant role in fly fishing. Then why is it that some fly fishermen spend thousands of dollars on a new rod? Same reason they spend so much on their cars, their shoes, theirs suits, and their club memberships...prestige. Given a $200 fly rod and a $2000 fly rod - neither will catch you more fish. That...is a function of the person using the rod. I love to see nothing more than an avid fly fisherman using a 20-year-old rod, wearing an old vest with holes, beat the pants off of a rookie who approaches the stream outfitted with $5000 worth of new gear that's unable to help him hook a single fish.
In this chapter, you'll discover...
The THREE critical factors to consider BEFORE purchasing your rod to assure that you choose a rod that's perfect for you. (p.69)
My unbiased secret recommendation for the best all-around rod that's perfect for any one who's just starting out.
How to avoid watching a trophy fish break loose as your rod twists miserably in your hand. This can happen if you buy a rod from a manufacturer that ignored the rod's spline direction. Unfortunately, all too many rod manufacturers ignore this vital detail. I'll reveal which manufacturers to avoid.
The #1 thing you must know to make sure you're not taken by the salesman. Avoid the common pitfalls that most newbies fall prey to when purchasing a new rod. Fly shop sales people can many times be as ruthless as used car salesmen. Arm yourself with the information that's necessary in order to save hundreds of dollars and avoid being talked into a much more expensive rod than you need. (p. 82)
Chapter 6 : Reels
If you've spent any time looking around a fly shop, you know how much money you can drop on a fly reel. Seriously, why would anyone spend $3700 on a reel? I just don't understand it. Of all of the parts in a fly fishing system, I'd have to say that the reel is the least important part. After all, it's just used to wind up the line. Unlike a spinning reel that's actually used to help land a fish, the fly fishing reel is just used to wind up the extra line.
In this section you'll discover...
The exact criteria you should use when evaluating two different reels so that you're guaranteed to choose the right reel.
Two ways to save hundreds of dollars without sacrificing quality on your next reel.
The big myth that reel manufacturers perpetuate in order to con newbies into buying more expensive reels.
Which reel manufacturer insists on making reels that are not reversible for left-handed fly fishermen.
Exactly which large arbor reel is the best buy for your money. Sure you can buy more expensive reels but this one will out perform the more expensive reels for half the price.
Chapters 7-13: "The Meat of the Book"
There's so much in this book I can't possibly go into all of it right here. In the next several chapters, we'll go into the real meat of the book. This is the section where you'll discover all of the tricks for catching trout, largemouth, smallmouth bass, muskie, pike, walleye, bluegill, crappie, flounder, tarpon, bonefish, redfish and more.
Chapter 7: Assembling the System Chapter 8: Fly Fishing for Largemouth Bass Chapter 9: A System for Smallmouth Bass Chapter 10: Fly Fishing the Wide World of Trout Chapter 11: Panfish and Perch Chapter 12: Fly Fishing the Pike Family Chapter 13: Fly Fishing Saltwater: The Last Frontier
In Chapters 7-13 you'll find out these tips and techniques plus more...
Exactly how to use a fly rod to lure the largemouth bass into your taking your fly.
The THREE key behaviors of largemouth to consider before choosing your tackle.
The 5-step formula for catching smallmouth bass. Eliminate even one step and you'll never-ever catch a bass. (p.113)
The single-most productive category of bass flies to use during the hot summer afternoons. Nine out of ten fly fishermen never even think to try these flies and that's why most fishermen mistakenly think that fishing is best only at dusk and dawn. Master this fly and you'll catch fish ALL DAY LONG. (p.115)
The reason that 90% of all fly fishermen use the wrong length of rod when fishing for smallmouth bass. Don't make this "novice" mistake.
The easiest way to cope with the wind when casting to fish in salt water.
The only fly line, out of the thousands that are available, that you should choose for salt water fishing.
Step-by-step advice for setting up a fly fishing system for each type of species. Discover why you can't expect to catch a trout on the same fly line and rod as you'd use for bass, musky, or red fish.
The hidden truth about whether big flies really are better for catching big fish? This one might surprise you.
Chapter 14: Casting
For many fishermen, the art of the graceful cast is actually more important than the art of catching fish. If you're one of those guys who's hoping to not only cast great distances but also do it with precision and grace, then this next section is for you.
I promised that this book is the ultimate fly fishing manual covering the sport from every angle. No fly fishing manual would be complete without a discussion of the cast.
In this section, you'll discover...
The 11 Immutable Laws of Casting. Learn these laws and you're guaranteed to improve quickly.
The ultimate casting drill that's guaranteed to double the distance of your cast within 20-minutes. Use my exclusive 16-point checklist the next time you practice your cast to insure that you get the right motion and immediately maximize your distance. (p.156)
The prevailing myth that three out of four fly fishermen fall prey to when trying to increase their distance.
The three most common mistakes that every fly caster makes when learning to cast and how to avoid them.
How a 2-second change in your stance can increase your casting distance by more than 35%.
The FOUR critical elements your back cast must have... If you're missing even one of these, you could be sacrificing both distance and accuracy!
How the position of your rod before you ever begin the cast can easily increase your casting distance by an additional 150%! This one seems like a no-brainer but most fishermen neglect to do it.
The single-most-important key to forming a perfect loop, just like the pros, on each and every cast! Once you know this simple trick, you'll never cast like a fool again.
The Top Three Reasons why 75% of all fishermen cast poorly, and struggle to get the distance and accuracy they want. These three factors are worth the price of the book alone.
How to avoid tangling the tip of your line ever again. Learn the exact motion that causes those annoying little knots that ultimately form the weak point in the line and break as soon as you've hooked the big one.
Chapter 15: To Catch a Fish
Finally, in the last sections of the book, I have definitely saved the best for last. In the chapter titled, "To Catch a Fish" I have encapsulated my all-time best kept secrets that I've learned over my 40+ years of fly fishing experience.
Here are just a couple of the "million-dollar" secrets you'll discover...
How to avoid the #1 Fatal Mistake that fly fishermen make. This one tip, if applied, can instantly change your fishing results for the better. Imagine tweaking one simple thing, and catching a fish on the very next cast. I've watched it time and again with many of my students. This golden nugget is perhaps the most important tip in the whole book! (p.161)
How to make your fly come to life and drive the fish crazy. Four out of five fly fishermen just let their fly float on top of the water, lifeless. Once you discover the secret to animating your fly, you'd better be prepared. The fish will be fighting over your fly.
THREE ways to know when a fish strikes...even when you can't feel the strike! More than 90% of all strikes go undetected. The fish takes your fly, figures out that it's not a real fly, and spits it out, RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE. If you can just learn to detect the strike, you can catch close to TEN TIMES as many fish.
How to react when a fish strikes so that you can avoid snapping the tip of your rod off!
Two NON-NEGOTIABLE Rules for successfully landing a fish. (p.166)
Plus much, much more... Like I mentioned earlier, I couldn't possibly cover everything that's in the course in this webpage.
"You'll Profit From
My Fly-Fishing Experience"
I suppose over the past 40 years I've read hundreds of fly-fishing books and articles, wasted tons of money on fancy tackle, and have devoted thousands of hours to practicing the best casting methods. And finally, I've narrowed it down to the best techniques that work consistently and almost universally.
So consider this an enormously valuable shortcut. If you want to experiment, that's fine, but if you simply want to be effective, then you can stick with these few efficient techniques that actually work!
Think about this... if you needed to cross a dangerous mine field, would you rather attempt it on your own, or would you rather follow someone who had been through that mine field many times before?
I know, if it were me, I'd much rather have someone take me by the hand, show me where to step and caution me where not to step. I'd rely on their experience because they had succeeded at crossing it many times before.
I pledge to teach YOU, as I have taught others. I'll take YOU by the hand in my course. Step-by-step, I'll show you exactly how to replicate my methods with clear, easy-to-understand instructions written in a way that you'll be able to easily visualize the techniques.
...Any one of these valuable nuggets can help you catch more fish!
Now, just imagine if you started making only a handful of these tactics work for you.
How many fish are you missing everytime you go fishing?
Listen, aren't you sick and tired of trying to learn how to fly fish on your own, never catching fish, and wondering why others can land them left and right?
That's why, getting "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us" is your answer. And there's one big secret...
Doing the same thing is only going to get you more of the same results. You need something different (and proven to work).
This system is unlike anything you've ever been exposed to. You won't find this information reading trade journals, attending industry shows or from any course you'll ever take. This is truly unique information.
There's no need to reinvent the wheel. Everything is ready for you, all laid-out for you step-by-step.
Plus, if you order before , you'll also get 2 more FREE gifts worth more than $75:

Once you've completed the section on fly casting in "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us" you'll be up to speed on the basic fly cast. However, "Cast Like a Pro" offers instuction on many of the advanced casting techniques not covered in "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us." In this free bonus ebook, you'll discover how to manipulate your line in ways that you never knew were possible.
“A Measured Improvement.”
"Mr. Macnair, you have no idea how much I owe you. I took your book out to the lake near my house so I could practice 'the drill' that you outlined in chapter one. I marked my fly line with a black marker every 10 feet so I'd know how much line I was throwing. When I started I could only manage 25 or 30 feet. In less than half-an-hour, following your steps, I was able to easily throw 80 feet of line! I've been doing this for years and have never had that much line out there. I was skeptical that I couldn't learn how to cast from a book, but I did. Now I can't wait to read chapter two about the advanced casts."

“Tight loops...with way less effort.”
You are a genius.
I got the casting book online yesterday and read the first part and
practiced this morning with my Sage 8 wt. Xi2 and threw 75' no leader just fly line (measured with a tape) with tight loops and no tailing loops at all, with way less effort.
I'm ecstatic! This is what I needed.
I’ve been thrashing around with my cast for two years and have read books and always asked my fishing guides for their unbridled input on what I’m doing wrong with no real leaps in progress. But your no non-sense instruction turned the key, a quantum jump……I’m amazed and boy does it feel good.
Thank you again, Dave Leger Somonauk, Illinois
“I've Been Looking for
Something Like This.”
"Thanks for writing, 'Cast Like a Pro.' That was by far the best piece that I've found on casting.
